Welcome Mustangs! 

I am Tamsen Stokes, the principal of Moore Middle School for the 2023-24 school year. This will be my first year with the Moore/Pomona community and I am really excited to be here. 

This is my 19th year in Jeffco where I have been a high school English and social studies teacher, a dean of students, a high school assistant principal and now principal. I love being in a school where everyone feels safe to learn, grow, and explore the world around them. 

On my weekends you can usually find me hiking, fishing, gardening, or skiing in the winter. I have a lovely and supportive wife, three fun and entertaining teenagers, and an adorable pointer black lab mix named Del who is scared of water and other dogs but doesn't flinch around the lawn mower.

Molly Jordan (MOJO)
Assistant Principal

Having left public education for a year to pursue non- profit programming, national equity work and producing a short film, I am inspired to immerse myself in a new professional challenge and leadership opportunity.  With experience as a 5th grade and 8th grade science/reading teacher, middle school dean and high school assistant principal for 20 years, I am honored to be your Mustang assistant principal  where I can live out my mottos "Take that Passion. Put it into Action." "Love. Kindness. Service to Others."

Living at 9,000 feet overlooking the continental divide near a ski area in Colorado, my off the grid backyard brings peace, solitude, and an outdoor playground with my husband and friends. Having run 12 marathons nationally and scuba diving twice a year internationally, exploring and immersing in other cultures expands my cultural canvas.

As a two-sport head coach, teacher and administrative mentor, I enjoy facilitating the growth of others and working alongside . Having been a ropes course facilitator, Americorps NCCC member and environmental educator, building positive relationships, valuing people with dignity and honor through ongoing team building, celebration and representation is a love of mine.
